Fundamental Analysis?

Where can I find the fundamental explanations of your trading strategies?

MRCI research is statistical, not fundamental.  None of our special reports contain fundamental
research.  Any commentary that we provide anywhere --- the Weekly Spread Commentary, monthly
reports, etc. --- reflects knowledge that we have picked up along the way and inferred its relationship
to market activity.  We're sorry, but we are unsure where you would get complimentary fundamental information.

Our "fundamental explanations" are located in two subscriber only sections within MRCI Online.

1. MRCI Online Updates

2.
Monthly Outlooks: Outrights & Spreads

If you trade spreads you may also be interested in Jerry's Weekly Spread Commentary.

Each week, MRCI Editor Jerry Toepke chooses two upcoming seasonal spread strategies from
among those presented on MRCI Online and comments in more detail. The brief discussion
typically focuses on how their seasonal patterns may have evolved and on the fundamental
and/or technical context in which these spreads may find themselves this year.

Newsflash

The world will still run for decades on fossil-fuel energy --- crude oil, gasoline, heating oil, natural gas.  Buy 'em?  Sell 'em?  When?  Just since 2008, crude oil traded at $147/barrel, collapsed to -$40.32/barrel in 2020, ran to higher than $130 in early 2022, and the traded less than half that in May!

MRCI's newest special report is complete with seasonal patterns & weekly charts: for each delivery month and several spreads against each; for product spreads; for cash & basis; and for 3/2/1 and 2/1/1 crack spreads.  Better yet, this 284-page volume presents 190 seasonal & spread strategies to anticipate throughout the next 12-months.
