MRCI Online vs MRCI Special Historical Reports

Why can't I find a specific trade that is in one of my Special Historical Reports on MRCI ONLINE?

MRCI ONLINE features approximately 15 seasonal futures trading strategies and 15 seasonal spread trading strategies from a VARIETY of the major futures markets each month! All strategies have been at least 80% historically reliable between specific dates. For example, approximately 2-3 outright & 2-3 spread strategies will be for the grain markets each month.

MRCI Special Historical Reports, (like our Grain Report) feature MORE historical trading strategies for specific markets. For example, our MRCI Historical GRAIN Special Report, features 122 seasonal and spread strategies for just the grain markets for the whole year!

Yes, SOME of the trades will be the same but in the Grain Special Historical Report you receive a lot more Grain specific trading strategies. Please note that because it is a subjective process and we rerun our seasonal programs each month to choose our monthly trading strategies for MRCI Online it is is also "possible" that the website may feature a grain trade that is not included in our Grain Special Historical Report.

Lastly, because our trading strategies are subjectively chosen from a much bigger list & because some trades fall below the 80% criteria the trades are different each year.

Each year we release a new edition for each of our 11 Special Historical Reports. Our Special Historical Report release schedule is located here: http://www.mrci.com/web/help-pages/frequently-asked-questions/83-mrci-special-historical-reports/428-2011-report-schedule.html

Please note: Each new edition of our Special Historical Reports feature approximately 60% different historical trading strategies. The benefit in buying new editions each year is that you will have more historical trading strategies to explore.

Here's how it works....

1. Each year, MRCI's seasonal programs run an initial scan to find all strategies that are 80% historically reliable between specific dates.
So, whenever we choose strategies for any publication at any time, we start with the freshest data possible.  We also ignore anything we have published anywhere else.  In other words, there is no "master list," per se.

2. From that "raw list" MRCI analysts subjectively choose the strategies.  The most weight is given to win/loss percentage, then to total average profit, then to average profit/day (suggests the intensity of the move), and then to other considerations (does exit coincide with First Notice Day, etc.) So, all published strategies are chosen from a much bigger initial list.
