MRCI uses AnyChart and AnyStock to provide a chart viewer with a flexible interface to view and navigate the time based charts. The user can drag the
plot manually, enter exact date using Range Picker or set some range using Range Selector Presets. But the core navigation tool is the Scroller.
The Scroller is a complex component, which consists of several configurable parts. The Scroller itself, a thumbnail series in its background, an optional
scroll bar (which MRCI does not use), and range markers. The llustration below highlights these parts.
The Range Selector Panel is a part of the chart component to make navigation though the large chart even easier. The panel consists of two parts:
Range Picker - two text fields that allow user specify manually the period to view.
Presets Panel - a set of predefined buttons bound to the selected range or some special ranges.
The focus on a single market each month can provide you more in-depth knowledge of how it trades. What if you knew such things as ... (1) average daily ranges by day of week (2) how often it tends to close higher/lower by day of week (3) how often it tends to gap up/down (4) historical summary of daily % of price change
