Trading on Shorter Time Frames?

E-mail Print
Question....
Since I am trading Forex and currency pairs are traded in other time frames such as 15 minutes, 30 minutes, hourly, 4 hourly, and daily candle stick chart, does the MRCI HISTORICAL FOREX REPORT provide strategy in these shorter time frames or for traders to pinpoint on a combined chart of each currency pair going back 15 years for these shorter time frames? Another words, I am wondering if based on say 15 year historical chart record, can one pull some profits from these shorter time frames rather than on the longer month by month basis?

Answer: If the market holds true to the seasonal pattern, one can certainly trade in-and-out of smaller time frames in the direction of the seasonal trend, but the research is based solely on daily closing prices.
